Naftask

Naftask is in the very early stages of development. A Javascript/PHP version of the program is extended with a C++ persistence/calculation layer. If you would like to help with the development: fork the project on Github and shoot me an email at naftask@iamnafets.com. Any help is welcome!

Naftask is a task/todo list manager aimed at the dataheads and programmers of the world. A common complaint among organizational enthusiasts (and control freaks) is that their todo list quickly gets out of control. The simple problem is that most tasks can't actually be worked on in a given moment, even if you wanted to. If you're waiting on Susie before you send an email to your boss or you have a sequential list of tasks to do that require the completion of the previous task, you will accumulate a nasty list of things that can't be done. Naftask aims to solve this problem by turning the seminal todo "list" into a todo "structure" and then feeds it to modern planning algorithms, integrate it with your google calendar, and distill as much complexity from your list as possible. If your todo list is simply a place to store ideas, the computer is not working hard enough for you.
