There are times where being clean feels like a weakness, and at this moment every scrape and stain felt like strength. To add to my macho feelings, my machete was strapped haphazardly to the hammer holder in my pants. I'd have reach back periodically to make sure I hadn't lost it as I crawled through the darkness. Yep, still there. I couldn't wait to get started. I invisioned the thick brush at that moment like an ant in an ant farm and it was begging me to dig in."
